Location
Marco Bay Resort is located on the north side of Marco Island and overlooks the Intercostal Waterway and Marco Bay. Marco Island is approximately 24 square miles with two bridges connecting it to the mainland, and is located south of Naples and 100 miles west of Miami. The island is accessible from State Road 951, off of US 41 (Tamiami Trail) or I - 75 at exit 101. Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) located in Fort Myers is approximately 45 minutes away. Fort Lauderdale and Miami International Airport are also excellent alternatives.
Resort
Opened in 1982, Marco Bay Resort consists of twelve buildings, each five stories high with elevators and stairwells. We offer one and two bedroom fully equipped condominium suites with complete kitchen, living room, dining room and separate bedroom (s). Most suites have a private screened balcony; however there are several units with extended living areas and no balcony. These units also provide views as well. Guests may choose from suites with various views such as pool or bay, courtyard and sunset. The resort has two large heated swimming pools, two tennis courts and three Jacuzzis. Guests can relax and enjoy their favorite drink at the "Dolphin Tiki Bar" located between the tennis courts and the boat docks at the waters edge.
Recreation
The resort is located next door the island's largest marina, where guests may select from a wide array of boating options. Charter boats are available for both backwater and off-shore fishing. Rental boats are available as well to cruise around the island on your own. Our 4 1/2 mile crescent shaped beach offers sunning, swimming, shelling, parasailing, wave runners and windsurfing. There are numerous public and semi-private golf courses nearby; some of which are championship-rated. The resort is ideal for those who love to walk, as many restaurants, shops, boutiques, and grocery stores are all nearby. Marco Walk offers movie theaters, as well as many fine gift shops and restaurants. Bikes and mopeds can be rented for scooting around the island. Naples is close by, and has several shopping malls. Third Street in Naples offers many boutiques and fine restaurants.

Southwest Florida's attractions are bountiful, from state and national parks with exotic wildlife and vegetation to the Indian-rich history of the Seminole and Miccosukee Indian Reservations. Museums, nature walks, animal parks, as well as the Philharmonic and world-class shopping and restaurants can all be enjoyed in Naples. The Thomas Edison/Henry Ford Homes, Museum and Botanical Gardens in Ft. Myers are fascinating for all ages. For racing fans. nearby Bonita Beach has exciting Greyhound races.
